1) Overview

Steblo is designed to minimize data collection. Your step counts, app-gating choices, credits, streaks, and usage statistics are stored on your device (and in a shared on-device container used by Steblo’s extensions). No Steblo account is required.

We do not sell your health or Screen Time data. We do not use your data for advertising. Under normal operation, we do not receive your step counts, gated app identities, or Screen Time usage on our own servers — that information stays on your iPhone and is processed locally by Steblo and Apple’s frameworks.

This policy explains what data is processed, why, by whom, and what rights you have under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR).

2) Data We Process

2.1 Data you provide and that is generated in the app

When using Steblo, the app may store and process on your device:

• Onboarding inputs: daily step goal, self-reported daily screen time, desired daily screen time, and similar setup choices
• Profile & progress: display name (default: “Walker”), daily step goal, streak, credits earned/spent, daily and weekly stats
• Gated apps: your Screen Time app selection, stored as opaque Apple tokens (not readable app names on our servers)
• Unlock sessions: which gated apps are unlocked, remaining unlock time, and related session metadata
• Screen Time usage (local): minutes used on gated apps during unlock sessions, aggregated for stats inside the app
• Preferences: theme/appearance and similar settings
